This past Saturday Hokule'a was on schedule to leave for it's world wide journey along with the Hikianalia. I blasted over to the Sand Island bridge after work on my bike. The parking was a mad house and so was the crowd at the pier. I took what images I could of the vessels and then tried to concentrate on the people themselves. How the crew was preparing, sharing information, and how the crowd was reacting to this momentous occasion. Here is all I have. May their journey be safe and may the knowledge of our past be preserved throughout the world.
